Informing everyone that there's a really neat article concerning Richard Feynman in the March 2005 issue of Discover on pages 46 - 51. It's worth taking a look at. :)

Richard P. Feynman was born in New York City on the 11th May 1918.

He studied at

the "Massachusetts Institute of Technology"

where he obtained his B.Sc. in 1939 and at

" Princeton University" where he obtained his Ph.D. in 1942.

And we have another most charming troll on our hands. Hi there. There should be a sign advising visitors not to feed them.

Anyway, perhaps you can tell me, CotoDeCasa. Why did (almost certainly) the greatest physicist since Einstein choose Caltech to as the place at which he would spend the majority of his academic career, as opposed to Princeton and virtually every other top school in the country, which would have all jumped at the chance of giving him a very cushy offer? (Princeton offered him an Institute of Advanced Study chair, generously endowed for life with lots of fringe benefits and no duties.)

And he still chose Caltech. Hmm... perhaps you have made a point opposite to the one you intended.

CotoDeCasa

What the heck are you trying to do? What kind of troll are you? Aften giving false crap and escape from the other thread, now you hop to the another one? Disgusting ...

I believe Mr. Richard P. Feynman belongs to the world, not MIT, Princeton, Cornell, CalTech, or --even-- Tuva.

I believe Mr. Richard P. Feynman is dead....

Surely, you're joking, Mr. Mensa.

Feynman's views on Caltech according to Surely You're Joking...

There are these people who are close to the top, who are very interested in what theyre doing And I realized, as I finally got to my office, that this is where Ive got to be. Here people from all different fields of science would tell me stuff, and it was all exciting. It was exactly what I wanted, really.

:)

I was born on Feynman's 69th birthday.....sweet.

A Feynman resource I figured all would enjoy: :)

Wow, thanks, impulse3D. I am loving it !!
Only had audio tapes and books before this.
