anyone?? i signed up for two,

i joined taking care of business (II)- northwest. I signed up for central housing, will i now have to live in northwest?

Well yes, unless u don't get your fig

it says you're FIG request OVERRIDES everything so if ur fig is in northwest and you got into it, then yea you will be in northwest even though on you're housing app. you signed up for central. um if you want to do the taking care of business fig, there is one in central ( i picked this one) but its in a academic community which means you hav to pay $100 a year to be in this lc.

YOUR not YOU'RE...ahh such a big pet peeve of mine. "Your FIG overrides," and "your housing app." It's not YOU'RE. Ahhh. Dcho, if we're going to the same college you better get that straight.

What is FIG?

WHAT?

FIG's override everything?

I applied for Residence Scholars as my first choice, and was approved for the program. My Sports and Society FIG was my 3rd choice, 2nd was Sports and Society RC in NW.

So i'm going to have to pay the extra 3K and do that FIG?

how many people are in a fig?

FIG = Freshman Interest Group

I'm not sure that I really want to join one. For some reason I'm under the impression that it's just a waste of time, or rather, I just won't have enough time to bother with it. Am I right or am I wrong?

lol sorry about the you're i wont make that mistake again :)

residence scholars is not a fig i tink? i tink about 20 kids are in a fig im not sure buts its supposed to be a small class setting type. i tink figs are pretty gud and can enhance your education and undergraduate experience if you pick one that you're interested in. my host did a fig and met some good friends in the fig he signed up for. 3 reasons why figs are great in my opinion:
1) its free
2) the classes you take can either fulfill all of your general ed. requirements or it can fulfill your major requirements if your major is related to the fig theme.
3) you meet people with similar interests and is great way to know your peers in a more personal setting.

anyone doing an ifs? im considering the personal law or the technology one, but it costs about $2500. not sure yet if im doin it
