More About FIGs - First-Year Interest Groups

There is a residential fig where you stay in Duren or Whitis and a strictly academic fig where you live where ever but take smaller classes with people that have similar interests. Im pretty sure the residential fig application is due before the Housing application is due and the academic fig is open through orientation as long as there is room, because they gave me the opportunity to sign up for the academic one a few days ago while at orientation. There are different figs for different majors/colleges and its pretty much three classes you would usually take for your major and one fig seminar class. If I am wrong or if there is something else I am missing please add.
