Film 133 w/ Walter

Anyone taking this course this quarter? Do you know the assignment that's due on Wednesday?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Due Wednesday? (Do we turn it in to our TA or him on Monday?)

Write a 1 page MAX, typed, double spaced paper about an example/scene of a film that lacks integration (be specific). Also, for the same film, include a specific example/scene of integration.

Note: A film is integrated if every aspect - every line of action and dialogue - accomplishes simultaneously the twin tasks of (1) advancing the plot and (2) expanding character.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I emailed Walter about it yesterday and incurred his wrath:
“Weren’t you in class, [name]? Didn’t you hear me describe it there?
Richard Walter”

I have no idea when who it’s due to, but you’re right, lecture is Monday. I’m so confused. @_@

I’m surprised we get 4 units for the class. We only meet 16 hours the whole quarter. (because my TA cancels when we don’t have class Monday due to holiday)

My 4-unit math courses meet 38 hours each, plus 2-3 hour finals.

Which TA do you have? He sounds cool. My TA (the Indian woman) is wasting class time reviewing the first 2 pages of everyone’s screenplays till the 8th week.

I think all south campus classes make you work more for less credits. It helps south campus majors who have a lot of requisites graduate faster under a 20 unit limit.

I’ve got baker, the Tuesday TA at 12. We’re sort of doing what you’re doing, but he prepares other material for us, like sample scripts from films and discusses them.
