Film Applicants

Hopefully! April 15th is ridiculous...so many people want to attend the admitted students day but will know afterwards.

anyone get accepted to film production yet?

rejected.
wth..
got letter yesterday.
i wasnt planning on going anyway.
but rejection letter still suck.
good luck to everyone else though!
i hope my getting rejected gave someone who probably deserved it more a chance to get in!

I got rejected too. I was suprised.

Just found out I'm waitlisted. Anyone got any advice? I'm from the UK so I'm not too familiar with the US application process!

Is there anything I can do to increase my chances, or do I just sit and wait? They already have all my grades/etc.

If you feel LMU is the school for you (have you visited?), I suggest writing a letter following up with what you're doing in terms of extracurriculars, telling them you'll enroll if given the opportunity, etc.

They are always "swamped" in the admissions office, but best of luck!

Thanks for the advice! No, I haven't been able to visit, but I have heard lots of positive feedback. I'm waiting to hear from Chapman as well - I've applied as a transfer - and it's difficult to tell which I'd prefer without visiting, but right now I'm leaning strong towards LMU.
