<p>What is the acceptance rate for the film major department?</p>
<p>Giraffe, What are your stats, i.e., SAT, GPA, etc?
I was told by an admissions officer that the acceptance rate is less than 10%.</p>
<p>According to one of the admissions counselors, there are over 1,000 applicants for about 100 spots. The average SAT is 1300 (CR and Math) and the average GPA is 3.8.</p>
<p>I don't know what the yield is, but my guess is that the acceptance rate is probably around 15%.</p>
<p>Film is the most selective major at LMU.</p>
