<p>Hello! I am interested in majoring in film production and wanted to know if anyone has any advice or personal experiences in this major.</p>
<p>Also, I need some advice on colleges. I was wondering if going to community college first and then on to a university would be worthwhile. I have looked at several great universities with reputed film production programs and they all basically teach the film production classes in the junior and senior years and have the pre-major classes and gen. ed. the first and second years. Going to community college would save me a lot of money those first two years and by getting an A.A., I would have a head start on learning film production because I would be taking more of those classes than I would at a university. Do you this that this is the route I should go? Or should I go straight to a university? </p>
