Film school AND...

So I've decided that I definitely do want to go to film school. However, the more I think about it, the more i realize that my ideal career of being a screenwriter is one in which it is very hard to make a steady income. So I've been thinking of more practical things that could pay the rent while I write my awesome screenplays. Specifically, I've decided that I could enjoy being a journalist (except that's almost as difficult as screenwriting) or a high school english or history or drama teacher.

Which brings me to my actual question. What exactly are the education requirements to become a teacher? Is grad school required? If not, then I guess what I'd like to do is go to a college that has good film school and is also a place where I could double major in Film as well as Education(?). Advice would be appreciated.
