Film Studies R1A

I'm thinking about taking that class to fulfill my R&C and Humanities Requirement. Anyone know anything about that class? Is it as interesting as it sounds? How are the professors? How does it fair in difficulty? Thanks in advance.

dood, i was gonna take film studies r1b, check them out B4 you take it, because my R1B was waaaaayyyy over my head, it was about how time is represented in visual art and stuff, and u had to go to the berkeley art museum once a month and stuff.
i guess it's really cool for people who are into that, but i'm not very visual, so i was very confused and had to drop out

Oh man, I'm not big on visual arts either. It seems as if it's too much of a hassle. Any other suggestions of which classes to take to get rid of the R&C and Humanities. I'm leaving for Calso in like 2 hours haha.

i dunno, i'm thinking about doing it in summer school next year, i hear it's a good deal to do a summer school R1A/B (gives you an excuse to not go home too!!!)

i hear rhetoric is pretty easy, there's also comp lit, or like...a german r1a/b

^Dude, after having taken a rhetoric r1a course, i can tell you, rhetoric is not easy by any stretch of the imagination. By far the toughest course that ive taken. And i dont know where you would get that idea from because rhetoric has a reputation of being a very difficult dept. at Cal

i hear wit rhetoric, it was easy to get a b, hard to get an A. what i do hear is that the material is super boring
