<p>D just got an email from Amherst saying that FA Awards are visible in the portal. </p>
<p>We login and don’t see it. It looks the same as yesterday. All the documents we sent are listed. </p>
<p>Can anyone else are the award info? </p>
<p>So frustrating. I just love how they send the email and then turn off the phones for the day.</p>
<p>I have the same problem! I don’t see where the “awards” tab is… I emailed them, so hopefully I’ll get a response soon (or maybe the tab will just appear later today?)</p>

<p>A little disappointed at the package. Expected a much better one. The result from the financial calculater is a lot different. Anybody has the same problem?</p>
<p>Hm, mine is alright. It’s about the same as vassar’s and for some reason I expected it to be better. My wellesley financial aid is amazing so i’m going to see if I can negotiate.</p>

<p>Hm, the Fall and Spring awards are separate sums, not cumulative right? In the sense that you add up the two subtotals for the total award for the whole year?</p>
<p>My D sent update me the FA award, so apparently it is posted. I am sure you will get it soon. It is pretty generous.</p>
<p>It is similar to the aids from other schools. However, after paying the tuition, we will be really, really poor. Need to appeal!</p>
<p>Offer from Amherst and Williams are almost identical - except Amhesrt is loan free and Williams has a small loan of $2500.</p>

<p>I guess I am just ready for her to make a decision so I can send a deposit check somewhere. </p>
<p>She has to visit Brown and then William & Mary of the 16th and then hopefully we will have a winner.</p>
