Final Attempt @ Master List of Interesting/Easy Profs/Classes

psych 1 or 2
german r5a

“Interesting” is a relative concept so of course there are going to be differences in opinions.

As for me, I’m taking Soc 1 right now with Ray and it’s really interesting stuff! The class is curved though. :
German r5a is really easy but I found it really boring.

@aerials: I certainly agree that something “interesting” depends on different people. however if the professor is able to make a boring (or difficult) subject understandable and exciting, I’d call that an interesting class.

anyways, anyone know of any interesting EECS or ME classes?

bump i need a fun 2 units class for my first semester lol

Fillipenko for Astronomy. But then again, I like Astro

any good profs for bio classes?

nst 11 is difficult + boring

NAS R1A is an easy “A-”

what’s nas… why A- not A

Native American Studies R1A…I guess you can get an A if you tried lol of which I did not and still got an A-

For filler classes take a DeCal

English - Tamarkin - not not easy but not hard, OMG she is amazing and gets really excited about subject

I took EPS 39a my first semester. It was two units and you get to go on a camping trip. I think it would have been exciting if I was actually interested in rocks and stuff but I’m not. It was really easy though as your whole grade was basically based on 1 essay done on a topic of your choice. I’m not good at writing and I started two days before it was due but still got a B.

NST 11 is difficult + boring… I never cut class more than 3 times in a roll (no junior), but I did that in NST

PS3 with Gilmaird. I must have skipped at least 1 month of class, but still ended up with an A. If you have a basic understanding of statistics, there is no reason to attend lecture.

CS 150
CS 61A

All interesting classes.

CS as in computer science or cognitive science ?

comp sci lol o.O

UGBA 143 - Game Theory.

79% A’s in Sp08. 3 non-cumulative exams plus a project.

There are no official prereqs, but knowing basic (micro)econ, calculus (16A/1A level), and some probability theory can be a plus.

Any profs for Sociology?

Which prof would you recommend for Econ? (Trying to fulfill Haas requirement)
