Assume that essays are in the upper-echelon--not to toot my own horn, as a few people seem to do here, but writing's my thing; my recommendations are coming from a counselor I'm quite close to, an English teacher that loved me to death (put me #1 on his "big board" for most likely to kill the AP test), and a Gov't teacher who thinks I could run for the White House one day (no kidding. love that man). Pulling off what would be a 4.71 GPA this semester, which would bump me up about 20-30 spots in my class...

List:
VANDERBILT (ED II)
BC
Clemson (rolling, but stilllll waiting)
Dartmouth
Georgetown
Indiana
Miami OH (EA)
Michigan
Notre Dame (huge legacy)
Richmond
Tulane (actually showed genuine interest, wrote a pretty good "Why Tulane")
Washington & Lee
William & Mary (wrote optional essay)
Williams
[already into Fordham EA, SMU EA, Alabama (NMF full ride), Illinois (preferred)]

Thanks, yooo.

BUMPPP? happy new year!

From your test scores and ECs I’d say you have a good chance at any of these schools. Dartmouth like any other ivy is unpredictable but I think you could be a competitive applicant if you raise your gpa and get decent recs/essays. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1267499-chance-me-ill-chance-back.html</a></p>

Your GPA is going to be the only stumbling block - no one could find fault with your scores or your EC’s. Yeah, Dartmouth is hard, but you have a shot. You should be into W&M and Richmond - I’m from VA so I know lots of people at both those school and you’re on equal footing with them. BC is unpredictable, but I think you’ve got a good shot at GTown as well. Miami, Michigan - you’re in.
Oh chance back?

If your gpa wasn’t so low, I would honestly say you had a strong shot at every school in thr country. But it is what it is. I think you’ll get into vandy , and if not then definitely a few more on the list. You have unique ECs and a great ACT score.

I think you have a great chance in the ivies (and in the other ones, basically 100%), all you have to do is basically explain your ADHD, and say how you made a huge effort to do well in your classes (in your essays). the gpa is the only thing holding you back, those test scores and EC’s are great!!

chance me back!

Thanks, y’all! Add Northwestern (legacy) to that list as well!

Got into Miami and Clemson with a fair amount of cash from both. Bump!?

I agree with the other posters about your GPA, but if you show an upward trend then I think your chances will increase for every school.
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1266989-will-i-get-rejected-cothc-holy-cross.html</a></p>

Depends on much they count your GPA. If they put a lotta weight on it, don’t count on your test scores, ethnicity, or ADHD saving you.

Vanderbilt '16. Thanks, y’all!
