<p>I go to a well-regarded HS in Illinois. Posted initial chances thread last Spring. Here’s my current profile:</p>

<p>GPA 3.30 UW 3.40 W Rank 140/450
Trend: 9th = 3.31 10th = 3.18 11th = 3.50 12th (1st sem est) = 3.90
Classes: 3 Honors, 3 AP (taking APs this year). Didn’t take tougher courses cuz counselor said “no” (wasn’t his call, but my fault for not knowing that!)</p>

<p>Challenges: 1) Transferred to IL HS in 10th. Due to hard transition, helped found “Student Ambassador Service” to assist incoming transfer students
2) Missed 20-30 days/yr in 8-11th due to illnesses & surgery; new med plan has helped me miss fewer days and I got 4.0 in 4Q/11th and 3.9 in 1Q/12th</p>

<p>ACT 33 Reading 36 English 35 Math 31 Science 30</p>
