FINAL CHECK: TARGETs & Safeties

Any other solid undergraduate business schools that provide a lot of aid and are of very good value? NOTE: 25% acceptance rate or over, in the Northeast/Mid Atlantic Regions. Already have: Villanova, William and Mary, Richmond, BC, Wake Forest, Bing, Buff, & Bentley. Any that I’m missing? Thanks.

Fairfield and Providence both offer merit aid and have solid business programs. They could perhaps be safeties for you

Villanova does not provide “lots of aid” either need based or merit. William and Mary caps out of state need based aid at 25% of the cost of attendance, which will not get you to mid 20s. BC takes home equity into account heavily; so unless their NPC indicates a cost that meets your budget, take them off your list, too.

Do the NPCs for Wake Forest, Richmond and Bentley meet your budget?

Have you tried the NPCs for these schools? I would not count on any merit from Wake Forest.

Check out the Catholic schools. Fordham and Fairfield come immediatyto mind but there are scads of them and have good merit money though they do not tend to meet full need. Many have strong local support from alumni and great opportunities hard to come by from the bigger name schools. and are truly hidden gems. Actually the two I named above, are rather well known. Looking at schools with less name recognition than those can find those gems.

SUNY Albany. Fordham.
