Does anyone know when fin aid stuff is supposed to come? Should it come with the acceptanace? Please let me know

I live in MD and haven't received anything official yet (I got GSP and University Day)....

dawn: the financial aid 'stuff' is supposed to come with our acceptances (or rejections, im not going to jynx myself LOL)

maybe people are getting acceptances because their last name begins with A?

nope not at all.

^directed towads my comment?

letters have nothing to do with last names.....i'm SURE i've read that in the past--besides, it makes sense. if anything, i think that rejections would be sent out early....

I thought that rejections were sent out later....

really? hm. I guess I was basing my statement on the fact that I got rejected (today) from Barnard--note that the date is 3/27, not 3/1 or higher. hehe. :)

I think it just depends on the school...

...Although I got my rejection letter from Barnard today, too....

yeah stephen, i was just saying that it's not alphabetically mailed out- person who got in from my school doesn't have last name with A.

bandnerd, youre a girl?

oh and i was also rejected from barnard today. go us

yep, I'm a girl!
Wow... a lot of people here applied to Barnard...

:) am I the only one who doesn't care about that particular rejection?

I don't really care about it too much...

a bunch of research I did showed that it wasn't the greatest school in regards to quality of living. we're definitely better off with NYU.

in all honesty, i anticipated it. i felt the envelope, and went "oh". haha no bad feelings

Yeah, I think I'll do much better downtown than uptown.
And I knew it was coming- I messed up my application. I was doing it quickly and I thought the limit was, like 700 words, when it was really, like, 700 characters... Not good.

quickly because it was due in a few hours?

I rushed mine too--as dumb as this sounds, I had a New Years party to be at and I was running pretty late.

Well, I was at a belated Christmas party with extended family- I didn't have much time.
