Final transcripts! Gpa dropped!!!!! Ahhh!!

Okay so I was wait listed and then accepted to a University. my first semester GPA was a 3.5....my second is a 2.8. I did take two math courses and I have a learning disability in math so that kind of counts for some of the GPA drop. Idk what exactly happened to me this last semester, but I really slacked. My grades for all four years have been shaky due to personal issues so it's not like I've had a 3.5 for all four years of high school, in fact my cum. GPA is a 2.8. Do you think they will take away my admissions because of the drop in my GPA this last semester????

im freaking out.

Never ever blame a disorder. Chances are, it’s not even a disorder, but your inability to have discipline. Our generation is called the ADD generation for a reason.

Why do I sound so harsh? Because you said that you maintained a 3.5 GPA for 4 years and it just dropped? Just sounds like you lack discipline. Also, while I am still at it, do look through your post before you post it. Try to avoid obvious grammatical and syntax errors in your posts.

I said I did NOT maintain a 3.5.

Are you sure you are not just terrible in math?

Never said I wasn’t.

Wuzzie, what university or college? If you got in off the wait list, there is some chance that your 3.5 in the fall weighed heavily in their decision. But you’ll never find out what they’re going to do by asking us. You really should contact the college. Sooner is better than later. Tuesday would be good. It would be more work for them to toss you out and take someone else in your place than to keep you on board, so I think it’s unlikely they’ll rescind their offer of admission. But they could decide to impose some kind of conditions on your enrollment. And whatever is about to happen, you really should address the issue sooner rather than later.

Now, for some harsher treatment:

What made that seem like a good idea?

Of course you know what happened to you last semester. You just said what happened: you slacked. And slack off is not a transitive verb. It’s not as if somebody else can do it to you.
