You are absolutely correct by saying that where you go isn’t as important as what you do there. I can only speak for Northeastern, but you will find so many opportunities to engage in the real world through our co-op/experiential learning model. There is so much to do and get involved in on campus and everyone is extremely career-driven. People have a general idea of the direction they want to go in life and they start paving the path to achieve their goals from day one. Boston is also an amazing city to get educated in and you will always find something to do any time and any day. Our campus is bustling with diversity and I have learned something from everyone I have met. I really hope you come to visit and like what you see!

Also, I have several friends who attend UCLA and I can tell you it is also an incredible school. People are intellectual, want to shape the world, and have a multitude of interests. It is a world-class research institution and you will have so many opportunities to get active in your community and your education. Also the campus is beautiful

^thumbs up to the ucla part ;)

You’ll get into NYU, because your GPA is a 3.9 UW much higher than the average, even though ACT is still in their 25th to 75th percentile range for the admitted class of 2018. Don’t sweat it, brahhhhh!

UCLA’s campus is amazing! Also, the revolutionary biomedical research that occurs on campus is just amazing. I wish I lived in state so tuition wouldn’t be as much! @frostedcupcake11

Also, thanks @PSC2IVY for the information! Do you happen to have a link that I can follow to find more information like this for other colleges?

@nagintapls, do you think I have a chance at the University of California, San Diego?

Have you considered trying out the SAT? I know some people do a lot better on one test than the other.

I agree, either retake the ACT or try the SAT

Where are the grades for the college courses you took at Kentucky? Everything looks really impressive except the ACT score!

I don’t believe my ACT score is low because I struggle with that particular test. It’s actually low because I didn’t try when I took it. I completely skipped ten questions in the reading section simply because I didn’t feel like caring. However, the next time I take the ACT I will be a lot more prepared and I will actually study for it!

Also, I received A’s in all of my classes, both high school and college, except for CS 180 and CS 371. I received a B in both of those classes simply because I’m just not the best coder and I struggled to grasp the logic behind coding.

Thank you for the advice everyone!

Can anyone specifically chance me for Tulane University? Tulane University is currently my number one choice because of the opportunities for me to continue my biomedical research and even conduct newer and more ground breaking research. Along with that, their biochemistry major seems very challenging, which is exactly what I am looking for. Also, the location of Tulane is just amazing culturally. Thank you!
