Schools
-UVA (OOS)
-UNC (OOS)
-William and Mary (OOS)
-Duke
-UPenn
-Rice
-Pepperdine
-PSU (In state)
-Pitt (In state)

So what do you think? Do I need to get my SATs up, especially math? Or can my what I consider to be unique ECs and great GPA and rank help me out?

i dont know much about chancing people but your stats look great. I just got back my SAT scores also and did the poorest on Writing and best in Math. Haha. good luck.

As I'm sure you know, your last three schools are safeties. Unfortunately UVA/UNC/William&Mary are not good bets for OOS. I would love to go to UVA, I just couldn't stomach paying $30,000 when I know everyone else pays half.

Anyway, Rice should be a "match" for you - which does not mean acceptance - it would in a perfect world, I guess.

Duke and PENN in my opinion, are officially in the "astronomically hard to get into" category, so, sadly, no one has a "great" chance of getting in there.

Just wanted to give this a nudge.

I was also curious...anyone familiar with Pepperdine--how difficult is it to get one of their Regent's scholarships? Are my numbers in line?

One last bump. Sorry to do it again!! Just curious.

Are u going to take SAT Math 2 too? Are u just gonna leave it with SAT Math 1? Just curious. I think ur scholarships chances with Rice is pretty good in my opinion. Just talk beforehand to the colleges first before applying and u will save urself a lot of trouble. Double check. Tripple check. I had a lot of bad experiences this year.
