Finally hit me why I got a 2 last year...

I took the AP Computer science test last year (self study, no class). I walked out knowing I had nailed every section. I was mad to put it nicely at the 2 that I got in the mail over the summer... I just went with it. No schools I want to go to will even take the credit..

Mulling it over for 6 months, I realized why I got a 2 and not my guaranteed 5...

I wrote the dam FRQ in C...
Didn't even cross my mind as I had been studying C during the months leading up to the test. At that point, both languages were interchangeable in my mind, so the mc didn't phase me.

Yep...

haha, well congratulations, you’ve successfully mastered a much lower-level (harder) language than was required =D

At the same time, C is extremely explicit and verbose, which makes it, while annoying, a good platform to learn the science behind programming. Many similar functions in higher level languages, such as Java, can be implemented in C, however a much more in depth knowledge of the workings of a computer is required. I think you ought to retake the test again, it’s obvious that you have the material tucked down, just remember in which language that you’re writing in this time :P.

Lol that’s gootta suck
