Finals

Anyone take them yet?

I'm a junior and have taken my psych and ap bio final exam so far. My psych final wasn't too bad, ap bio on the other hand was horrible. But I guess its because I was just winging them. My next few final start in like two weeks.

How'd the rest of you do/think you'll do?

We do finals this week (last week of school). All but one if my academic classes were AP, so I don’t have many finals. I have one real one, which I did today, but it was French so you know I couldn’t care less about it. And then I have a presentation and two projects due as “finals” for two AP classes tomorrow.

where in nj are you?

I only have 3 finals. Japanese 3 (last week of school), Chinese 2 (next week or the week after that), and Pre-Calculus (also last week of school).

All my other classes are exempted once I pass the standards.

i’m only taking four finals (all next week)…two of which i need to hard core study for…

cs1234, uhh northern?

i wish i could be exempt from finals, but only seniors can. next year i plan on taking no finals whatsoever. =]

ahhh i have yet to take my ap bio exam! Im soooooooo worried about that one!

We start next Friday. We have eight days of exams, but I’m only taking six

my ap bio is actually a two-parter. tomorrow we have the essay portion. hopefully it wont be so bad.

Compared to APs, finals will be a walk in the park (go figure when a 70% = A on most APs)

At my old school, they changed the grading scale on the finals. They wouldn’t change/curve YOUR grade, but an A would be like 80-100, and then a B would be like 60-80, and so on and so forth. I think the lowest passing score you could achieve was a 32% in Chemistry. A 32% on the final was considered a D, which was passing. No wonder I left that school. I finished with finals two weeks ago. They were pieces of cake compared to the AP exams I took.

Nada. Had 'em all before the AP exams… I don’t get why you guys have them afterwards, lol.

US after 1945 and Precalc on Wednesday cause those are majority senior classes… regular finals for everyone else start June 9

Most core classes at my school you have to take sols, or standards of learning. I don’t think I did that well on my US History one today, which is sad. Then again 1/7 of the questions are experimental. Blah. I have Chemistry, which I will get close to a 600 (max) and Math.

If you pass your SOL’s, which is sad if you don’t, you are exempt from exams. All I have to worry about is my German exam =\ Exams are set for late May/early June. School ends on the 5th I believe. Then I take the sat the next day… Then my summer officially starts! =D
