I heard back from Marshall of USC and IU Kelley recently. Since I am an international student, tuition would be high enough for me anyways.
But I would like to know whether going after school's overall name value would help me get jobs after undergrad or go for an MBA. In this regard, USC rolls better on people's tongue but Kelley ranks higher on business school ranking(not entirely trusting it though).

What do you think?

In the long run, what you get out of the school will make the most difference.

Name recognition only goes so far. East coast of the USA will probably be more familiar with IU, and west coast will probably be more familiar with USC. In either case, it doesn’t mean squat if you didn’t learn anything.

Pick the school where you feel you will get the best education for you. If it is close, then you can use factors like name recognition. But, then you need to think where you want to go after college.

BTW: MBA programs are probably aware of the quality of both schools. They are in the business.
