<p>Hello! I recently accepted a finance internship at a Fortune 500 company (it is an oil company in the top five). I am an accounting major and am still deciding between private accounting and public accounting. I have not taken an auditing class yet, so I do not know my opinion of it. </p>
<p>Which (public or private) is more lucrative? How will this internship look on my resume? Could I use it to get into the Big Four if I decided to go into public? A little about me: I go to a state school where I have over a 3.9 GPA. I am an officer in Beta Alpha Psi and am involved in the other accounting organizations as well. </p>
