<p>Many surveys haven shown that Stern is #1 for finance. Being next door to Wall St. certainly helps. But can someone give me some specific reasons as to why Stern is so great for finance? Or why finance is great at Stern? (Whatever way you want to interpret the question.)</p>
<p>Obviously being close to Wall Street gives Stern a huge advantage over other schools. I think thats the primary reason why Stern is so good for finance. As Sternies we’re trained literally two blocks away from the financial hub of the US and the world. That makes it easy to get opportunities at huge banking companies. Alot of students from other top business schools are taught theory and such, but Stern prepares you for the jobs right outside NYU’s doorstep. That’s the way I see it atleast. Correct me if I’m wrong :P</p>
