Financial Aid Application Currency Conversion

Most schools require your parents most recent tax returns to be submitted alongwith the CSS PROFILE for your financial aid application.. thats fine..

The problem is, some universities (Duke and Brown for example) require a copy of your parents' most recent tax returns AND they want it converted to US$. How do you go about doing this?
Do you simply convert the Indian Rupee to US$ having looked up the latest exchange rates on the internet and write the corresponding values beside the Indian currency values on the photocopy of the tax forms? Or is there a more official way of doing this?

Think you should convert using xe.com

But I’m not applying for financial aid so don’t rely on me.

where does brown say that they require tax returns?
and secondly, duke etc want them through IDOC… college board will contact you regarding that in early feb…
