Financial aid apps

The NU website is a bit confusing... can someone clarify how the financial aid application process works?

I've already taken care of the FAFSA and CSS forms... so does this mean I have nothing left to finish before February 1? Or are there NU supplements that I need to hurry up and do this weekend?

These are the steps I remember (although I might be forgetting something):
1. Checked the box indicating that you were requesting financial aid on part I of the applications.
2. Submit the CSS, along with the specific NU questions.
3. Submit FAFSA, indicating you want it to go to NU
4. Send W2's

I think that's it, but what does your online application page say? If you're seriously confused, call the FA office at NU.

So the W2's are due in May, right?

Nope. I'm pretty sure they're due on March 1st.

March? Not February?

I'm checking what it says in the flyer (called Instructions for Northwestern Financial Aid Applicants 2005 - 2006) on how to apply for finaid that NU sent me after I stated that I was applying for finaid on the application, and it says the FAFSA and CSS Profile (the two evils of our world) need to be submitted on or before February 1st. The federal income taxes (including the W2s) need to be sent dirently to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions by March 1st.
