<p>No. If you belong to the upper-middle class, why would you need need-based aid? The money is usually reserved for lower income.</p>

<p>Yes. They do offer 15 merit scholarships known as the Presidential Scholarships. To be competitive, a 4.0/4.0 GPA and a 2350+ GPA are minimum requirements to be invited to a weekend retreat and you'd then have to do interviews and write essays. </p>
