Financial Aid Award Summary?

Hi all, I just received an email though BuckeyeMail saying I’d received financial aid, and to check Buckeyelink accordingly. However, when I see the financial aid page, the “To Do” list has things regarding a Stafford Loan (filling out a promissory note, entrance counseling), while the “Award Summary” tab simply says “Awards under review”.

Does that mean I’ve only qualified for federal loans, or is there more I should wait for before I take out a loan?

I applied for work-study and my EFC is $0, so I was hoping for work-study or a pell grant.

Did anybody get any special and/or engineering scholarships?

We are also hoping for an engineering scholarship but nothing here yet…just provost & buckeye…

I received the Engineering Dean’s Scholarship, but I knew about that a few days before the aid package came out.

Did anyone else get a 2nd email saying that awards had changed? We did, but after logging in it doesn’t look like anything changed from initial amounts/awards.

I received it two minutes before the status changed from "under review " to complete list

@Adwaya Honestly I have no idea. The website says “The number of awards and amount of stipends varies (for 2013-14, the program offered a total of $288,000 in 289 scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,500)” as it’s description.

I received a 1 year $1000 scholarship from it.
