I'm going to be a sophomore this year and I checked my aid package. I received about $4,000 less than last year and, coupled with the increase in tuition, I will have to pay about $6,000 more than last year. I'm pretty surprised about this because my parents didn't see any increase in income and I'm also a twin so I'm not sure if an extra $6000 would be affordable. Should we call the financial aid office and ask them for some more money? Or is it likely they won't budge? This isn't my first year here but I received a sufficient package last year so I didn't have to call them, and I don't know how the process works. What's likely to happen?

Did you get an email stating that your package was complete? My son’s appeared late last week with just his Pres scholarship and stafford loans. A day or so later another scholarship appeared. We are still waiting for a third scholarship and possibly some grant money. He has not been notified that it is complete yet. Keeping my fingers crossed!
