Do financial aid decisions generally come out with admission decisions? Or if not, when?
They usually come out along with your admission decision.
They usually come a few days after admission decisions, but there is some variation by school.
Some schools email FA decisions too, but some snail mail which usually comes a few days later.
I believe that they will include the financial aid statement with the decision.
Our experience with two kids has been that the FA info (whether in an email, snail mail, or via a portal) is separate from the admission decision even if delivered on the same day. The admission decision is a congratulatory notification to inform the applicant that he/she has been admitted. The conditions of the award, with information about FA, deposit, contract, etc. are usually detailed in a separate communication, which may or may not be delivered on the same day or via the same medium as the admission decision.
