Hello! I'm an international student applying to Smith this year. I already submitted the CSS Profile and the application online, and sent a writing portfolio via mail. I only realized recently that I had to send a declaration of income via mail, so I sent it off yesterday and due to holidays, it might not get there on January 2 (in spite of the fact that I paid $50 for Rush Courier). The offices are closed and all attempts to contact the University have failed. I am worried that I might not be considered because the supporting financial aid document might not get there on time. I was wondering, was this a problem for anyone or can the school be flexible if the postmarked date is the 28th?
Thank you.

Do you have a copy of it? You can scan it and send it by email or simply by fax. They’ll notify you if they don’t have all documents anyway and give you a few more days to send it. I think you’ll be fine.
