My question is this: does Gettysburg offer the same type of financial aid packages to ED applicants as it does to RD applicants, despite the fact that the ED ones are locked into going if they are accepted? I really love this school and can absolutely picture myself as a student there, but my family has to be very careful of the possible financial risks of applying ED. Any information would be greatly appreciated, but I would especially like to hear from students or parents of students who were accepted ED about what type of financial aid package they received.

Gettysburg was so generous to whom were accepted ED, they met more than 100% aid need. My son got in class 2012 and he's now very happy to be there.
Good luck, guys.

Hi Interburg! I'm an international student from Vietnam. I'm going to apply to Gettysburg for ED 2. I hope to receive need-based aid from the school because my family can only contribute a maximum of 2000$ to 3500 $ per year.
I have taken the SAT with Cr 530, Wr 600 ( essay 8) and 710 for Math.
I will take the TOEFL on October 12th.; my Gpa is 8.5/10.0 with no class rank (school in Vietnam don't have this rank)
