My son will be a junior at SJU in the fall. For each of the last two years, he has received a $1,000 subsidized loan. So basically, we have been paying full tuition. I now have another child who will be a freshman this fall at a private school that guarantees meeting full financial need. Because I will have two children in college, the new school offered a great package that even includes $13k in grant money. It is not a merit scholarship since the new school does not offer them. Does anyone know how generous SJU is with offering financial aid grants (i.e. real money and not loans) for families having two children attending private colleges simultaneously?

From my experience, they are not generous at all. They only offer loans. Other schools are far more generous.
