Financial aid for international students.

I have a question regarding aid for international students. For financial aid, most colleges specify one set of instructions for domestic and one set for international students. The instructions for international students often assume that the student lives abroad. Which instructions should I follow if I am neither a U.S. citizen nor permanent resident but has lived in the U.S. for 8+ years?

You need to contact each institution directly, and ask them. Don’t be surprised if each place tells you something different.

Yes, check with each institution, but generally, you would follow the instructions for an int’l since you can’t fill out FAFSA.

Thanks for the info.
