I’m a non-Canadian international student studying and living in Canada. I might get to begin the immigration process in few months but I won’t get my PR anytime soon.
I see that some colleges have different required materials for FA for Canadian students and other international students and requires Canadian students to submit the Canadian tax return forms. I’m not Canadian citizen/PR but my parents still receive Canadian tax return forms. Which instructions should I follow?
I believe that since you are not a CITIZEN of Canada, you would applying as an international student.
But when I doubt…call the college.
Can I assume that the answer to one college would be the same for all others, or should I contact all of them?
Contact them all…
But really…read carefully because the info onnthe websites likely says CITIZENS or PR of Canada, not just anyone who happens to be living there.
But yes…contact each college.
Contact each of them separately. Don’t be surprised if each of them gives you a completely different answer. Just do whatever A asks for A, and whatever B asks for B.
