Financial aid for transfer?

Hi everyone! So I can actually guess the answers to my questions...but still wanna post it here to see if anyone here has inside ideas about Midd's financial aid policy for transfers. I know...I checked its website and it says that financial aid for transfers is offered totally to the degrees that resources permit.... But "to what degree"? Were there really previous cases in which they offer FA to transfers? Middlebury seems to be need-blind for domestic students and green card holders, but what's its approach to domestic transfers and int'l transfers?
Any comment appreciated!

I called up about whether they were need-blind for transfers. The person I talked to wasn’t sure and put me on hold to ask. What I got from him was a very vague response, but it was something along the lines of they are as need-blind as they can be with the money they have. He did, however, say not to let financial aid be the deciding factor on whether to apply because they almost always are able to give financial aid to qualified transfers. I might try sending an email and seeing if I can get a clearer answer because I still am really unsure of their financial aid policy.

If you are an international transfer, I am almost positive they are need-aware.

Midd is not need-blind for international or transfer students. Saying that, if you are truly financially disadvantaged, that can be a plus.
