<p>Generally speaking, do private universities give as much financial aid to transfer students as they do to freshman students? I'm talking about the top tier schools like Stanford, Brown, UPenn, etc. I've heard that some ivy league schools give full need-based aid. If it matters at all, this is coming from a community college.</p>
<p>Brown states that they don't have much FA available for transfers. I think Columbia says the same. As far as my experience, I haven't noticed any difference between my FA package and that of my friends with a similar EFC at my school.</p>

<p>No. Those are the only two that I know of that say that.</p>
