Financial Aid Forms! Urgent! Please Help

Hi everyone,

i am international, applying ed and need financial aid. which forms do I need to complete?? As far as I see, it's only the International Student Certification Of Finances (<a href="http://www.princeton.edu/pr/aid/pdf/intStuCertFinances_0708.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://www.princeton.edu/pr/aid/pdf/intStuCertFinances_0708.pdf</a>) . But the 07/08 version is way shorter than 06/07, I don't have to write exact amounts spent by my family...

can somebody fill me in with the necessary information?

I just discovered the log-in section for financial aid (ok, I am slightly overheated due to hyperstress)... but is the online application + ISCF the only thing to fill out for internationals?

help appreciated.

where international?

well from what I read on te princeton websie. all applicants need to only submit the princeton financial aid application online. (<a href="http://www.princeton.edu/pr/aid/06/appl/03.htm%5B/url%5D">http://www.princeton.edu/pr/aid/06/appl/03.htm</a>) I dont kno about tht international student certification of finances form.

germany. but obviously it's the same process for all internationals.

for those who completed the online financial aid form, may somebody explain me why they heck there is no extensive "expenses section"? as far as i see, they want your income, taxes, tuition. where can i specify how much my family spends on what and how much is left after subtracting the expenses? the international financial aid form by collegeboard 2006/07 had such an "expenses section"...

Don't you have to complete the collegeboard thing first (for such an ID number)

I guess I have to ?!

hahaha... last minute panic!

yea i got a question... Dont we hav to submit proof. Like a letter from my parents employer or a Tax form or sumthin of that sort? please someone help! am actually getting quite worried

No they trust you - you don't have to prove your ECs either.

"No they trust you - you don't have to prove your ECs either."

extremely wrong. They can't just "trust" you if when they decide to give out tens of thousands of dollars in aid. too many ppl would lie.

instead, what we have to do is put the "estimate" income of the year. Later, when the w-2 forms and tax return forms come out, we have to file them.

i think maddy01 is referring to people who arent planning on applying for aid...

naah....actually Fred_is I'm talking about applying for aid... I'm just wondering how they wuld have proof that you really need the financial aid. And in Nigeria, we dont have tax return forms and all that.... So I don't know what to sed to them... Any suggestions??
