I got an award letter saying $9000 for fall and $9000 for the spring. On their website, Temple lists their tuition for their liberal arts college as $11,000ish. Is it 11,000 per semester? I'm so confused...if it is, then I have an extra $7000. If it's not then I am short by 4000. Btw, I'm commuting.

It’s $11,700 for the year in state.

I read on Temple’s website (sorry can’t find where,) that the amount of aid won’t exceed Cost of Attendance(COA), including tuition, fees, books, transportation, etc.

Tuition and Fees are shown here: [<tuition rate=“” schedule=“” 2009-2010=“”>](http://www.temple.edu/bursar/about/tuitionrates.htm)</tuition>

I haven’t received my award letter yet, so I don’t know what it looks like, but I’d imagine there should be a way to see what they have calculated your COA to be. Maybe check on OwlNet for more details.

BTW, Congrats!

I hope my award is as generous as yours, although I am very doubtful of such. I’m pretty sure I’ll be going part-time, because I’m not expecting any aid other than the Stafford loans. My EFC is about $11K and I’m not eligible for any state/federal grants. So unless Temple itself awards something additional, I’ll need to go half-time.
