<p>I just got my financial aid evaluation from U Chicago.</p>

<p>They gave me $0.00, which means that unless I win a merit scholarship, I can't go. </p>

<p>I don't understand how they could have reached that decision. I'm white and go to private school, but that doesn't mean anything. My family's income is less than Chicago's expenses! There must have been something wrong with my forms. Is there an appeal process?</p>

<p>I didn't get any either. It said in my letter I could appeal. Good luck getting your aid award changed!</p>

<p>Oh, god. Not encouraging. I haven't gotten mine yet...or maybe I did. It's too cold to check the mail.</p>
