I haven't recieved my financial aid package, yet (don't ask why; it's a long story), but I'm assuming my package will be coming sometime early this week. I just recieved something under my "messages" tab, though, saying "Please use this information to fill out your Private Education Loan Self Certification Form: A. Student's cost of attendance: 65,329 ------------------------------------------------ B. Estimated Financial Assistance: 0" Does this mean they are giving me no aid and I have to pay the 65,329 all in loans, or was this the same for everybody?

First of all, there is a limit to the amount of subsidized federal student loans any student can take in a given year. The rest is from unsubsidized federal programs and outside commercial entities, with higher interest rates.

Do NOT take on too much debt to attend Fordham. I wouldnt recommend too much debt at any school.

I wouldnt react to anything like your message tab until you get the financial aid package in the mail. You can appeal any offer of financial aid.

There are stories every year with kids caught in the crossfire of separated and divorced parents; parents with assets in realestate but no liquid assets; and all sorts of problems.

I wish you luck whatever your situation is.
