Financial Aid Packages for Transfers

Hello, I’m a recently admitted transfer student who will be attending UIUC in the fall at the college of business. I’m wondering about the financial aid packaging currently happening, and wanted to see how many students in my position have received their packages so far. When I check my financial aid, I see this message:

“You do not currently have a 2017-18 Financial Aid Award Letter. The Office of Student Financial Aid began packaging new freshmen and new transfer students in February 2017. We will begin packaging new and continuing graduate and professional students and continuing undergraduate students in March. In order to be packaged for financial aid, you must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available at www.fafsa.ed.gov and submit all documents requested under Student Requirements”

Should I be concerned that it says “began” (like it’s referencing something that’s already past)? I don’t have any one who’s helping me and I haven’t lived with my parents since I was 19 (I’m 23), if I am denied financial aid I have no chance of attending UIUC. Sorry if it seems like I’m overreacting… Thank you for your time!
