Just curious on how the financial aid packet looked for in-state transfer students. Would anyone shine some light on the subject for me? I'm interested in applying in the next admissions round, but, at the same time, hesitant because of the notoriously poor packages that some students have received. I've already completed 47 credits. Looking to get into LAS or maybe the College of Business.

financial aid is nonexistent at UIUC…

Haha, your reply actually made me laugh out loud. Maybe I should rephrase the question? I was interested in finding out what sorts of financial aid packages the school was able to offer-- any sorts of grants or merit scholarships in addition to the federal loans? I know that even freshman are even getting some pretty bad deals, so transfer students can only get it worse. Any real-life examples from recent transfer students would be immensely helpful.
