I got to the page where it asks for information about dependents. For self, it asks for employer or school attending.

Two questions about this:
1. I have a job and I go to school. I assume I list my school, yes?
2. I keep trying to enter "Raleigh Charter" and it cuts me off at "Raleigh Ch" What do I do about this?

because nobody on here is filling out the financial aid application as we speak and has specific knowledge of the web forms for the app? Jesus, man, listen to what you are, not asking, but loudly demanding of the forumgoers here. We're not admissions staff, if we've got nothing for you, then we've got nothing for you.

If you're resourceful enough to get into Columbia, you'll know enough to find numbers for people in the financial aid office and just call and freaking ask. That's why they have people. You can email, too, if you don't want to pick up a phone. But if you're sitting around here bumping a thread multiple times because you're too lazy to do your own work for yourself, Columbia isn't the place for you.

That's not what I said at all. I'm not lazy, but rather, have very little time to do anything, and I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem.

and I'm sorry if I came off as a total jerk, I was just really angry that no one else was having this problem that I was. I'm mega stressed out right now.

"I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem."

what problem, having very little time to do anything? Yes, I imagine many people here do. And many are "mega stressed out". Trying to save some time by asking a forum is a Good Idea. If it fails, having a Plan B ready is also a good idea.

I was actually referring to the problem with the online app, not that I have no time, I am fully aware that loads of people overbook themselves.
