Financial Aid Question

<p>Accepted student here who received his Financial Aid estimate today.</p>

<p>I was offered a grant and a scholarship totaling $34000, but nothing else was noted on the summary. Are loans and work-study usually not denoted in the estimate?</p>

<p>Also, since I'm a "University Scholar", does this preclude my earning a merit scholarship in the spring period?</p>

<p>My financial aid estimate said University of Chicago Grants - 34200, but gave no other details whatsoever (aside from the loans I’d have to take out). I feel like this is too good to be true?</p>

<p>Well, it’s yet to be decided officially-you have to send in the FAFSA, etc.</p>
