Financial Aid question

First of all, am I only the only one who hasn't received my financial aid yet? Should I be worried? I sent everything on time and it shows I have nothing missing.

Secondly, if my family of 4 (with one, soon to be 2, kids in college) earns an income of less than $60k, do you think Cornell will cover everything?

I'm hesitant to send in my deposit without knowing if my costs are covered. Anyone with experience know something about how much they will cover for my family?

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

EDIT: actually, I have a "Federal Verification Wksht" due before 5/1/12. Is that what's stopping me from getting my financial aid?

Btw, does anyone know how to find my Cornell ID number?

Yes, you must turn that in. If you do so within two weeks of getting the notification for it, your aid will arrive shortly after:) And no one has a Cornell ID # yet.

Interesting, I had that same fed verification wksht due as well… But I never got any notifications for it, I just checked my online status and saw it.

I’m missing the fed verification wksht as well. If you submit it now, it should come before May 1st. But given the financial info you’ve provided, you’re most likely gonna get full-ride or a near-full-ride.

i never submitted the worksheet and still got my financial aid package. but you do have to send it in before enrolling in order to get the government’s aid money. on the package, all of the federal grant amounts will be estimations. but do not be concerned. these estimations are quite accurate, I can assure you. Call the financial aid office up and ask them when they are sending your stuff. it never hurts.

sorry, i meant send the worksheet before the enrollment deadline, which is May 1.
