Financial Aid Question?

So on the Wake Forest financial aid website it says Wake requires the FAFSA, CSS Profile, and IDOC. I'm having a hard time finding my IDOC #, would Wake have sent it to me sometime after I applied? My family has filled out the FAFSA and CSS Profile but we are unable to print off the IDOC forms because we don't have an IDOC number. Does anyone know how these IDOC numbers are distributed, or how it works? I'm just a little confused about it. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi - after you submit the CSS Profile - you should get an email 1-2 weeks later giving you the link to the IDOC website. You actually can log into the IDOC site with just your Social Security number and date of birth. Here’s the link:

<a href=“Institutional Documentation Service (IDOC) – CSS Profile | College Board”>Institutional Documentation Service (IDOC) – CSS Profile | College Board;

Try to log in using just your SS# and DOB - you should be able to do it as long as you have submitted your CSS Profile and it has been processed. Print the cover sheet and copy your tax return(s) and W-2 forms and mail to IDOC.

Thank you, that clears it up for me!

For kkrush6593…I just completed the CSS profile on Feb. 10th and I received an immediate email back confirming its submission. In that email, towards the bottom, is the link to the idoc.collegeboard.com website mentioned above, but right below that info is the following:

What do I need to do?

Go to https://idoc.collegeboard.com and click the ‘IDOC’ button.

Enter two of the following in the Sign-In box and click ‘Sign-In’

Your IDOC ID. Your IDOC ID is: xxxxxxx

Your Date of Birth.

Your Social Security Number.

So, you should be able to see your IDOC in that email. Also, again, the email was received right after submitting the CSS profile. Remember that the deadline is March 1st.
Hope this is of help!
