I contacted the Student Accounting office about my fall quarter fees shown on http://mybill.ucdavis.edu website and they said that I will be receiving a “small remainder” due to financial aid (Cal Grant + scholarship). This will only be about $100 or so but how do I get the “small remainder”? Do they send it to my bank account or to student account or something? I would think it can only be used for school but I really don’t know. Thanks for any help.

If you have Direct deposit setup, then the extra money from financial aid will be sent to your bank account. If not, they send you a check. There is a link for direct deposit under the "My Money" tab on my.ucdavis.edu

EDIT: They don't send you a check, you have to go pick it up at Dutton Hall

ahh thanks for the info

if i don't have a checking/savings account right now, can i use my parent's checking account instead? to get the remainder fund.

also if i want to get a check, what do i do at dutton hall? is there a desk or something specifically?

If nothing has changed, you should be able to pick up the check on the second floor of dutton hall. It's not hard to find, there will probably be a long line.

great thanks =)
