financial aid transfer question

<p>Hello, I am planning on transferring into UT for the spring 2012 semester.</p>

<p>I am currently attending the University of Houston and receiving both the pell and texas grant. My question is will I have any trouble transferring that aid to Austin?</p>

<p>No matter the school, there might not be a Texas Grant anymore.</p>

<p>According to the legislation of house bill 1, the Texas grant will not be taken away from people who are already receiving it. I feel for the incoming freshman who will not be eligible for it. God speed.</p>
