I was admitted early regular decision to Mac and today I got my financial aid report. It told me how much "financial assistance" I qualified for but it didn't say anything about merit based aid. Does that mean that I didn't get any merit aid or do I find that out later? Thanks!

Hey. Congrats on your acceptance. I don’t know about the aid but how and when did you receive your letter? Through the mail?

Sorry I can’t be of any help. I can only ask more questions. :P

Hi! Thanks, I’m really excited about Mac but also a bit worried about the cost! I recieved my financial aid letter today and I recieved my acceptance on February 22. Both were through the mail.

I’m guessing if you got your financial aid letter and there was no merit aid, that you didn’t receive merit. Did you get some grants as part of your aid? Did they meet your EFC as they determined it? My D got a financial aid letter that included merit (and also loans and ws) so I do think if it was awarded it would have been included.

Do they send the financial aid info separately? Because I got my letter today, but no aid info, so I’m still waiting to see if I can actually go…

Has anyone received their financial aid yet? I got my acceptance letter on Monday and was wondering when they were going to send it out!

My son got his acceptance letter on Tuesday and the financial aid letter in today’s mail.

My son got his acceptance letter on Monday, FA letter on Thursday, and scholarship letter on Friday (although we already knew about the scholarships from the FA info). I hope that everyone hears good news soon!
