Financial Aid

Hi, i have been accepted at Bowdoin College but the problem is, they expect my parents to contribute over $20K a year. This money is practically impossible for my parents to afford every year. I was just wondering if Bowdoin had been known to be generous with Financial Aid offers when asked to re-evaluate the financial needs of a student many times. I have asked them about twice now and i am going to the Bowdoin Experience just to talk to the financial aid director. Does anyone know if this is a waste of time? cause i have been accepted to Colorado college and they are giving me almost full tuition cost to attend there. Thanks for your input.

I would mention to them Colorado's offer. They will be more likely to reconsider your financial aid if another college offers more.
